Modern Warfare Afgan Map

The Afghan map is considered to be a medium to large map, it's centered around a crashed C-130 Hercules transport aircraft deep in the mountains of Afghanistan. The western end of the map is loaded with numerous tunnels and bunkers making this the ideal place for sniping, the bunkers are concrete and provide good cover for snipers making it difficult for sub-machine guns and assault rifles to penetrate the bunkers.  The AC-130's and Chopper Gunners can however, pierce through the bunkers. On the Eastern portion of the map,there is a large cliff where you will find a lot of snipers firing down upon the C-130 or into the  bunkers adjacent to the C-130. In the middle of the mountain there is a cave which is normally filled with gunners doing close quarter battles. There are three entrances to the cave but there is one main entrance that is great for looking over the crashed C-130. When you exit the rear of the cave there is a catwalk that is perfect for flanking your opponents. Over to the north-east there is another set of bunkers and a poppy field. There are three entrances to this location and it is great for staving off enemies in the "Team Deathmatch" and "Free for all" game modes. Because of Afghan's circular type pattern, it is difficult for "campers" to keep their position. The best way to play this maps is to watch your corners and to aim down your sight as often as possible.
