Modern Warfare Tier 1 Perks
Blast Shield – Explosive Resistance increased
Blast Shield Pro – Impervious to flashbangs and stuns
Quickdraw – Quick aim
Quickdraw Pro – Quick recovery from using grenade/equipment
Hardline – 1 less kill to start the killstreak
Hardline Pro – Two assists count as kill towards killstreaks. Deathstreaks require 1 fewer death
Overkill – Carry 2 primary weapons
Overkill Pro – 2nd weapon is allowed 2 attachments
Assassin – disguised from heartbeat, thermal, portable radar and UAV
Assassin Pro – disguised from EMP & CUAV, no red crosshair or label

Dead Silence – Quieter movement and reconnaisance does not work against you
Dead Silence Pro – Fall damage none
Marksman – Better targeting at long distance
Marksman Pro – Longer breath hold in sniper
Steady Aim – Shooting from hip accuracy increase
Steady Aim Pro – Weapon ready is faster afer sprint
Stalker – Quicker movement while aiming
Stalker Pro – Enemy claymores delayed before exploding
SitRep – Detect enemy explosive & tac insert
SitRep Pro – Opponents footsteps are louder






Modern Warfare 2 Perks

In Modern Warfare 2 (MW2), your perks are special abilities and power ups for multiplayer combat. There are three perk categories or tiers available to you and each tier consists of different perks, so selecting  the right perk for your class is very important. The same applies in Modern Warfare 3 (MW3); there are only a limited amount of slots available, so selecting the correct perks from the modern warfare perk list is extremely important.

Here's something new... each perk can now be advanced to a pro version by being able to complete it's challenge. It's worth noting that pro perks are add-on's to each perk, they don't replace them. All game platform's (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC) will unlock the pro perks the same way.

Perk Slot 1

Marathon | Marathon Pro

Marathon PerkAbility: Unlimited sprinting.

Pro Ability: Get over jumping obstacles faster.

Sleight of Hand | Sleight of Hand Pro

Sleight of Hand PerkAbility: Gives you 50% faster reloading.

Pro Ability: Gives a speed boost to sighting down your weapon.

Scavenger | Scavenger Pro

Scavenger PerkAbility: Gives you a full supply to your load-out from fallen foes.

Pro Ability: gives you extra magazines.

Bling | Bling Pro

Bling PerkAbility: You get two primary weapon attachments.

Pro Ability: You get two secondary weapon attachments.

One Man Army | One Man Army Pro

One Man Army PerkAbility: Replaces your secondary weapon with the ability to change your class at any given time during a match. The One Man Army/Pro perk has been taken out of the Modern Warfare 3 perks list.

Pro Ability: Swaps out classes even faster.

Perk Slot 2

Stopping Power | Stopping Power Pro

Stopping Power PerkAbility: Gives you increased bullet damage. This has been taken out of MW3.

Pro Ability: Increased bullet damage against helicopters and aircraft.

Lightweight | Lightweight Pro

Lightweight PerkAbility: You move 2x faster.

Pro Ability: Allows you to do a quick aim after sprinting.

Hardline | Hardline Pro

Hardline PerkAbility: Your killstreaks require 1 less kill.

Pro Ability: Your death Streaks require 1 less death.

Cold-Blooded | Cold-Blooded Pro

Cold-Blooded PerkAbility: Gives you undetectable by UAV, air support, Sentry Guns, and thermal.

Pro Ability: There will be no red crosshair or name shown when you are targeted.

Danger Close | Danger Close Pro

Danger Close PerkAbility: Gives you increased explosive weapons damage.

Pro Ability: Increases your air support damage.

Perk Slot 3

Commando | Commando Pro

Commando PerkAbility: Increased melee (knifing) distance.

Pro Ability: You won't take any damage from falling.

Steady Aim | Steady Aim Pro

Steady Aim PerkAbility: Improved hip-fire accuracy from any gun.

Pro Ability: You can hold your breath longer for sniping.

Scrambler | Scrambler Pro

Scrambler PerkAbility: This will scramble (jam) the enemy radar in a small radius.

Pro Ability: Delays the enemy claymores, allowing you to avoid the explosion if you are quick enough.

Ninja | Ninja Pro

Ninja PerkAbility: Allows you to be invisible to heartbeat sensors.

Pro Ability: Allows you to move silently.

SitRep | SitRep Pro

SitRep PerkAbility: Tactical insertions. This will reveal enemy explosives and Tactical Insertions.

Pro Ability: Makes enemy's footsteps louder.

Last Stand | Last Stand Pro

Last Stand PerkAbility: Allows you to get a second chance at a kill and maybe survive a normal death. You will drop to the ground and pull out your pistol. This perk won't be available in MW3.

You can crawl in Last Stand, which was not possible in Call of Duty 4. Last Stand ends after 10 seconds or if you get shot again, either way, you will die.

Pro Ability: This allows you to use your equipment too, for example, frag grenades and throwing knives.
