Some of the highlights of the core section include Trendy Entertainment's tower defense action RPG Hybrid Dungeon Defenders at $2.99, the Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition (which includes all four DLC packs) for just $6.99. There's some other interesting stuff in there too, like Battlefield Bad Company 2, Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box, and others at what's usually about 75% off retail price. You can check out all thirty titles for yourself Here
The sale also includes a huge selection of what it Amazons defines as "casual games," all priced at a very reasonable $2.99 each.
Amazon currently has 223 separate games at that price point for the next few days, so if games like The World of Goo and Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath are more to your liking, there's a huge catalog to browse through. You can find Amazon's casual section Here.
If you subscribe to Steam, jump for joy because after you buy it go to your games and software library and enter the activation key shown into steam.
Amazon has had some impressive video game sales through its daily "Gold Box" deals in the past. However, I don't remember Amazon ever posting such a varying, wide selection of games for pennies on the dollar. So, if Amazon keeps expanding its video game deals, it's probably selling quite well. So, hopefully, we'll keep seeing more great titles like these on sale in the near future.
